It‘s simple.
Take God seriously.
Micah 6:8 (MSG)
But he’s already made it plain how to live, what to do,
what God is looking for in men and women.
It’s quite simple: Do what is fair and just to your neighbor,
be compassionate and loyal in your love,
And don’t take yourself too seriously—
take God seriously.
But how can all this be just,
what’s happening to me?
How am I supposed to trust
this fearful Deity?
Why did He send the tumour
that’s choking off my voice?
Was this His ill-humour,
or just a random choice?
What could be justification,
what could be the motive?
Did I use wrong salutation?
Was I not devoted?
The answer’s nailed unto a cross,
where even God has faced His loss.
You may find it hard to talk, Andrew, but your voice goes out into all the world in your written words.
Thank you for thi.
Learning ASL now. It’s interesting, and opens a window into a silent world of hopeful people who can’t talk (or, perhaps hear), but who yearn to be heard.
Oops, ‘this’ does indeed contain an ‘s’! 🙂
