Yes, JC, You gave me lots,
and You’re my One and Only,
but there’s one thing I ain’t gots:
I still don’t have a pony.
I ask for one every year,
and yes, I’m very sure,
but bad stuff happens every year,
a roomful of manure.
And each yesr You appear to me,
as if it’s what you’ve planned,
and for some reason, Glory Be!,
there’s a shovel in Your hand.

Always wanted to find an excuse to say, “Glory be!”
Glory be, Andrew, I never took you for a pony kind of guy. I figured you’d be wanting a Budweiser Clydesdale.
Actually, I used to do hunters and jumpers, dressage, and steeplechase. Loved it!
