for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.
“This is God’s will for you.” God’s will in my circumstances, or God’s will in my thankfulness?
Both! The circumstances aren’t a surprise to God, and a thankful attitude shouldn’t come as a shock.
If this is His will for me,
I think it’s pretty crook,
and I will pen an expose,
yeah, I’ll write a book!
It’ll be the dinkum story
of a bloke he flogged to death
but needs must include the glory
that keeps me here in living breath.
Yes, I’m dead, but still am living,
a conundrum for the ages
and a tale that keeps on giving
for me cobbers, and the sages.
I guess He’s done this countless time,
drawing straight with crooked lines.
