  1. I have nothing left to give,
    everything is gone.
    And yet I somehow have to live,
    I must keep fighting on.
    There is no hope for gentle days,
    there will be no relief,
    and I will become a blood-red haze;
    the process won’t be brief.
    Once again I gain my feet,
    and stand to face the foe.
    Once more into the breach, to meet
    what I hope you never know.
    I’m in a place past hope and fear;
    please, GET ME OUT OF HERE!

      Nothing left to give . . . and yet, Andrew, you keep on giving: wisdom, humor and your own unique viewpoint. Bless your soul!
