Less Is Simply Enough

Proverbs 15:27 (NIRV)
Those who always want more
bring ruin to their households.

Read your post this morning and sat and pondered the words “want more”, more money, more stuff than you can afford, more attention, more sympathy, more help ect… And all of the ways that those “wants” when out of proportion can bring a family down or wipe a relationship out. Looking back I wish that my parents or someone had spent time teaching and modeling the guidance given in Proverbs. As an adult I am reminded that the guidance and instruction is available to me always, so I have no excuses when I allow WANT to bring bad into my life. I need to make sure that I spend time in this area with my grand’s. I think that I need to write this verse on the back of my hand everyday! Thank you for your short and to the point advice. Obviously… I am quit wordy. Have a blessed day.

I love all your words, Donna. It is never too late to model (and talk with the grands about) “enough” and gratitude. Bless your soul.
