I KEEP IT SHORT & SIMPLE.
Why?Almost half of American adults read below high school level. God looks at your heart, not your reading skills. Big faith can be built on simple words.

Simple Statistics
Those of us who read easily often take the skill for granted. What do the stats say?
-
-
- 43 million American adults cannot read, write or do math above the 3rd grade level (Proliteracy)
- 17% of Americans don’t read any books — the average is 12/year (Gallup)
- 30% of US 8th-graders scored below the Basic Level of reading proficiency (NAEP)
- On average, US teens (age 15-19) read less than 10 minutes per day (Statista)

It’s not always easy to tell who can and can’t read easily. There may well be several reluctant readers in your circle of friends. For their sakes, keep things short and simple.
Advent: Hope
