Mountains Sing and Trees Dance

Isaiah 55:12 (NIV)

…the mountains and hills
will burst into song before you,

and all the trees of the field
will clap their hands.

I love autumn. Every year we get a sneak preview of a glorious concert yet to come … when mountains sing and trees dance.

Good morning, Lord. Every season provides a glimpse of heaven’s glories: spring’s delicate beauty, summer’s blazing sun, autumn’s dancing leaves and winter’s glittering snow. Together, they sing a complex melody of praise. Give use ears to hear nature’s tribute to the Creator.

It is amazing how each season has its own uniqueness of beauty. If only more of Gods children could take the time to just breathe it in. Your prayer offers a beautiful way of looking and listening for these blessing.

I love the fall colors, and yes, the fresh snow of winter is pretty but I despise the endless nights.

I LOVE this message today, and it hits home with me, as this morning my daughter took me to breakfast at the restaurant where a year ago she, along with 3 of my grandchildren, and I celebrated my ringing the bell at the cancer center after a 3-year battle, and today she and I celebrated a full year of me being cancer-free. There were so many times during that battle that God held me and helped me appreciate each season of those years.
