Face to Face

Exodus 33:11 (NIV)
TheĀ Lord would speak
to Moses face to face,
as one speaks to a friend.

Friends with God … face-to-face conversations … anytime, anywhere.

Good morning, Lord. I am grateful for our friendly conversations — at daybreak, midday, evening and in the dark of night. Round the clock, You are willing to listen to me. Forgive me for failing to be equally attentive to You. Tune my ears to hear Your words of guidance and encouragement … even correction … all the time, everywhere.

I’m not going to go into details, but I found myself lying in bed this morning just stinking thinking about all the reasons I didn’t need to get up. After about half an hour of feeling sorry for myself, my Spirit reminded me of one of your recent prayers, saying how we should “PRAISE” when these moods hit us. So I did, I thanked HIM for giving another day, and remembered and named the loved ones I’ve lost, who no longer have another day to look forward to. I’m writing you to THANK YOU for what you do and to let you know your “simple” words make a difference. GOD BLESS YOU!

Thank you, Dianna, for sharing how your remembered something I wrote. But it’s not me — that’s the Holy Spirit working through both of us.
