God’s Glory on Display

The amazing images from Artemis II
display the glory and knowledge of God.

Psalm 19:1-4 (NIV)

The heavens declare the glory of God;
the skies proclaim the work of his hands.
Day after day they pour forth speech;

night after night they reveal knowledge.
They have no speech, they use no words;
no sound is heard from them.
Yet their voice goes out into all the earth,
their words to the ends of the world.

God’s glory needs no words.

Good morning, Lord. The photos taken from space are amazing — God’s-eye views we earthly bodies seldom see. You see it all: the backside of every moon, the stars up close and personal, galaxies beyond the dark. Even our finest telescopes give us only a glimpse. Surely, the whole universe displays Your glory.

    Yes! And gives perspective to our heavy problems, and personal woes. They are still important and in need of fervent prayer, but all creation sings of our loving, creative, true and living God who is worthy of praise.

      Nothing like a deep space photo of the earth to shift our perspective! Yes, Valerie, God is worthy of our praise.

    I can’t tell you how much I enjoy your daily emails, as you state, “Big faith can be built on simple words.” I just stopped some of my daily devotions because I have been doing so many that I wasn’t spending enough time pondering the messages they were bringing to me. I was doing “quantity” instead of spending time valuing the “quality” of the devotionals. I find a lot to ponder on the quality of your words, and share them with my family and friends via my Facebook account.
