“It is written,” he said to them [those who were conducting business inside], “‘My house will be called a house of prayer, but you are making it a den of robbers.'”
God’s sanctuary is a house of prayer, a place where believers connect with God through prayer — individually and corporately. Lent is an ideal time to connect with like-minded Christians, and all together reconnect with God.
Good morning, Lord. I will be meeting with fellow believers this Holy Week. May all of us feel the connection that comes via our unity in faith, may we indeed be one in Christ. As we gather to praise and pray, draw us — individually and collectively — closer to You.
