Be not quick in your spirit to become angry,
for anger lodges in the heart of fools.
New Testament wisdom from the Apostle James:
James 1:19-20
Know this, my beloved brothers: let every person be quick to hear, slow to speak, slow to anger; for the anger of man does not produce the righteousness of God.
Similar advice, from two different men in two different eras. It’s timeless wisdom.
