Fire, used properly, is a blessing. We could say it is a gift from God.
“Thou fire so masterful and bright,
that givest man both warmth and light,
O praise him, O praise him,

I remember this verse from All Creatures of Our God and King when I cozy up to our wood stove on a cold winter’s night.
The fire praises its Maker. Let’s do likewise.
