Tasteless Bread

Sometimes, like Job, I find a world of trouble on my table. I don’t want any of it–not even a nibble.

Job 6:6 (MEV)
Is tasteless food eaten without salt?
Or is there any taste in the white of an egg?

At its best, it’s tasteless. At its worst, it makes me sick.

Lord God, I’m tired of the world’s tasteless fare. I crave the salt of Your Word. Season my daily bread with grace.

I have so enjoyed “the breads”! What an awesome way to apply it to our lives! (I especially agree with not wanting even a nibble of trouble). Season my daily bread with grace! Intentionally plan for calmer thinking, fewer words, compassionate response, grace. Thank you for the living advice you share so freely!
