The word of the Lord:
Isaiah 43:18-29 (NIV)
Forget the former things;
do not dwell on the past.
See, I am doing a new thing!
A new day. A new week. A new year. Whatever time the Lord gives you, live it in simple faith!

Christmas Day has come and gone,
the bustle and the dream,
and now one must reflect upon
what it all did mean.
Did I thus reflect the Christ,
in all I did and said?
Or was His Presence sacrificed
so I could get ahead?
Did His Birth truly change
the pagan man within,
or did I merely rearrange
my guilt, my lusts, my sin?
And have I really understood
the natal and the fatal blood?
“Did I thus reflect the Christ, in all I did and said?
Or was His Presence sacrificed so I could get ahead?”
Not just Christmas, Andrew. We should ask ourselves this every day!
Too right!
