Hallowed Nation

Exodus 19:5-6 (ESV)
Now therefore, if you will indeed obey my voice and keep my covenant, you shall be my treasured possession among all peoples, for all the earth is mine; and you shall be to me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation.

Wouldn’t you like to be part of a holy nation, to live among people who serve God with all their hearts? It all starts with obeying God’s voice.

  1. It was nice, once, to think
that I lived in a Christian nation,
but now it’s too far past the brink,
    and falling to damnation.
We tried to be so tolerant
    and let the educated choose
for us, but failed to see the elephant
    in the room, their views.
    Dr. Spock and Warren Court,
    Betty Friedan and Stephen Hawking,
we really should have cut them short
the moment when they started talking.
But now, I fear, it’s far too late
to save us from a Roman fate.
