Psalm 89:5 (NIV)
The heavens praise your wonders, Lord,
your faithfulness too, in the assembly of the holy ones.
The heavenly host praising God–I want to be part of that hallowed choir!

Heaven doesn’t draw me near,
although it’s coming, by and by,
for it is hidden by the fear
of what will happen ere I die.
I trust that God knows best for me
and that He offers reassurance,
but these are days of misery
with pain beyond mortal endurance.
Maybe there will be Hallelujahs,
and there I’ll be fully awake,
but now I’m in the flame-deluges
and I really need a break.
He’ll get the songs, He’ll get the praise
after I’m done with End Of Days.
My husband often says, “I don’t fear death, but I fear dying.” I think it is true for most of us, Andrew.
