I have been known by many names,
when I traveled here and there,
always shunning any fame,
for these were nommes de guerre.
‘Tis best to be the quiet man,
the grey face in the crowd,
who carries out the violent plan
with only actions that are loud.
The bowed shoulders, lowered gaze
do not interest invite;
but the humblest critter still has ways
to jump and turn and bite.
You will not hear my name in song,
but the world will know where I have gone.
And THAT is perhaps the best compliment I have been paid.
Really, there is some musical skill involved in writing poetry; I’ve always had a knack, been able to transpose by ear and such.
Don’t think I could write this stuff otherwise.

I KEEP IT SHORT & SIMPLE.
Why?
Almost half of American adults read below high school level. God looks at your heart, not your reading skills. Big faith can be built on simple words.

A bit of melody, Andrew, and your words become songs.
