If you know what’s good for you,
please don’t try to pray like me;
my talk with God’s shot right through
with the worst of vile profanity.
It comes from the life I’ve led,
in which the tragic became low farce,
and while not mocking noble dead
they’re fodder for comedic arts.
Perhaps you will think ill of me,
that I’m a monster, something worse;
but the truth, dear heart, is simply
that much of life has been a curse.
It’s not evil nature thus revealed;
it’s just a cry to please be healed.
You teach us to be honest with God, Andrew. A lesson well worth learning.

I KEEP IT SHORT & SIMPLE.
Why?
Almost half of American adults read below high school level. God looks at your heart, not your reading skills. Big faith can be built on simple words.
