Yes, I now I should be joyous
even when I am at work,
but, my boss, he does annoy us,
and, well, the dude’s a jerk.
Still, I try to keep on smiling
though what I’d really like to do
is (and there’s no denying)
to close his lips with Krazy Glue.
But the weekend will be here
and I am a patient sort,
for I know waves will appear
and I’m waxing down my board,
for after all Creation’s birthing,
on the eighth day, God went surfing.
Ah, well…in the first line it should be ‘know’, not ‘now’.
Hmm, crazy glue. Now there’s a happy thought.
