God may have a wordy way
but out here hellzapoppin’;
sure would like to hear Him say,
“Cancer, time for stoppin’!”
But the only thing on the 1MC
is a hissing carrier wave
and that just says, “Weapons free,
let fortune be with the brave!”
Don’t have a dog in this fight;
I AM that snarling cur,
and until the dawn ends the night
I have to just endure.
Coming now to a bad hard end,
guess I’ll meet a nail-scarred Friend.
