Rise to the Occasion

The fastest way to rise to an occasion
is to kneel down in prayer.

Philippians 4:6-7 (MSG)
Don’t fret or worry. Instead of worrying, pray. Let petitions and praises shape your worries into prayers, letting God know your concerns. Before you know it, a sense of God’s wholeness, everything coming together for good, will come and settle you down.

  1. Now has come the killing hour;
    the time for hope is past.
    Tonight the darkness will devour
    all, unto the last.
    Gird yourself to die a man,
    for it’s only this you choose.
    Embrace honour while you can,
    for it’s too dear to lose.
    The steady footfall in the night
    portends the evil host.
    and in your longing for the light
    you’ll find what’s worth the most.
    Before panicked min can bid you flee,
    bow your head, and take a knee.
