Remember Peter’s vision of the sheet filled with unclean animals and God’s command, “Kill and eat.”
Acts 10:14 (NLT)
“No, Lord,” Peter declared. “I have never eaten anything that our Jewish laws have declared impure and unclean.”
Find yourself saying”No, Lord” often? It’s time to rethink what the word “Lord” means.
Maybe it was Peter’s way of saying…”Hmm, I wasn’t THAT hungry.”
If God says, “Eat,” methinks it would be wise to do so. He knows when the next meal is coming.
Good point…but too often, in this illness, I’ve been suddenly and acutely aware of where the most recent meal was GOING.
