Not a Secret

How do you vote?

  • Touch a screen
  • Punch a chad
  • Check a box
  • Push a lever

In private. Or not.

Hebrews 12:1 (NIV)
We are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses.

Heavenly eyes are on your earthly vote.

  1. In one country that welcomed my profession, we were hired to watch over the voting process.

It was certainly different. each voter was given a pebble, and dropped it into an old oil drum bearing the candidate’s picture.

Then the back of the voter’s hand was slashed with a panga, to prevent repeat voting.

The line stretched for a couple of klicks; this was one badass electorate, and they WERE going to have their say.
