God Doesn’t Need Your Advice

It is tempting to tell God what to do. Don’t do it.

“Beware in your prayers, above everything else,
of limiting God, not only by unbelief,
but by fancying that you know what He can do.”
Andrew Murray (1828-1917)

God’s got a better plan.

  1. He may not need my advice. But He’ll get it.

God, especially, needs a good laugh now and again.

My toddler would try to convince me to do what he wanted, “I’ll be your best friend.” It never worked for him, but it made me smile.

My advice to God is equally effective.
