Fearing for their lives, the disciples woke Jesus from a sound sleep, “Lord, save us!” Jesus rebuked the winds and waves, calming the storm.

“Who is this man?” they asked. “Even the winds and waves obey him!”
Hurricane Florence was downgraded from a category 4 storm to a 3, then a 2 , finally a 1. Was it happenstance, or the answer to prayer?
God knows.
The storm has to end for God’s promise to appear in the sky.
We’d all like to pass on the storms of life. But storms reveal character, and they build character.
