People post their best photos and happiest moments on social media. Their lives look perfect. And when yours doesn’t, the enemy whispers, “You’re no good. What a loser.”
Remember what Jesus said about the enemy.
John 8:44 (NIV)
There is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies.
So who are you gonna believe? Father God, or the father of lies?
P.S. You are not a loser.
There’s a Japanese word, ganbatte, that translates as ‘please continue to do your best’.
Winning is optional; giving one’s best effort is not.
This reminds me of a message I heard on my car radio years ago: God doesn’t call us to succeed. He calls us to obey.
Exactly.
