According to Plato (whom I always confuse with Mickey Mouse’s dog), Socrates was supposed to have said, “The unexamined life is not worth living.”
I disagree; ‘know thyself’ has a limitation of perspective that can’t be overcome. In the end it’s like trying to lift oneself by one’s hair.
“The undisciplined life is not worth living” is far more cogent; discipline is liberation from sloth, and allows the attainment of heights of both effort and logic that can truly widen one’s horizon…and only thus, in discipline, can one truly know oneself.

I KEEP IT SHORT & SIMPLE.
Why?
Almost half of American adults read below high school level. God looks at your heart, not your reading skills. Big faith can be built on simple words.

“Discipline is liberation.” Yes!
We’ve all got a little of the Exodus in us–when life gets hard, we think about walking away from liberation and going back to Egypt.
Been there. Got the T-shirt.
