I couldn’t agree with you more. The Bible is NOT boring. It seems like every time I read through it, I find new nuggets that leave me asking, “When did God put THAT in here?!”
I love that His word is living and active, and sharper than any two-edged sword. Thanks for the reminder of that, and for the verses you shared.
Yes, Jeanne, I often question how I’ve missed something for so long. I just realized that the Genesis passage about the rainbow says that God will see it and remember. And all this time I thought it was WE will see and remember.
In a good translation, no, not boring. But for me the KJV is a yawner.
And the genealogies are always painful.
I mostly agree with you, Andrew. Except for Psalms. I want a modern version of the Bible with the Psalms in King James,
