Let us remember those who are persecuted for their faith.

Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness,
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
And all this time I’ve been thinking I am blessed because I don’t face persecution.

You’re right, as usual, Andrew. But there is comfort in knowing that when life becomes harder, the blessings increase. A friend told me that she’d met a woman who had been brutally beaten and said that she’d seen Christ at her side during the beating. My friend wished that she could see Jesus with that clarity–without the beating, of course.
