2 Corinthians 5:20 (NASB)
Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were making an appeal through us; we beg you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God.
Isaiah 9:6
… And the government will rest on His shoulders; And His name will be called … Prince of Peace.
We are ambassadors for the Prince of Peace, and our message is simple: “Be at peace with God.”
Good morning, Lord. Keep me focused on the Prince of Peace and His everlasting kingdom. Let me do what I can, here and now, to make this earthly home a better place. But no matter how good things are right now, without You it is all for nothing in eternity. May my prayers, words and actions proclaim, “Be at peace with God.”

Who, in your prayer, is Lord and who is Prince of Peace?
Hi Melinda, Thank you for the question.
I’m praying to one God, different names. To clarify: you questioned Shirlee Abbott, writer. I am also Shirlee Abbott, wife, mother, daughter, employee, church board member and more. I answer to Shirlee, Mrs. Abbott, Ms. A, Hey Abbott and more. Those who know me best (like my husband) see all those names and roles in me. Since I’ve known God for 60+ years, I call Him by many different names.
