Good for Me, Good for My Home

Proverbs 24:2-3 (ESV)

By wisdom a house is built,
and by understanding it is established;
by knowledge the rooms are filled
with all precious and pleasant riches.

A home might contain aging furniture, worn carpets and chipped dishware. But if it’s built on a foundation of godly wisdom and understanding, the space is filled with precious treasures money cannot buy.

Good morning, Lord. Fill my earthly dwelling with good things: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control; that is, fill my space with the fruit of the Spirit
(Galatians 5:22-23). Our home need not be perfectly decorated nor perfectly clean to honor You. Teach me to be content with what I have.
