God has already written my story. I live it out, page by page, day by day.
Psalm 118:24 (MEV)
This is the day that the Lord has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.
Even if today is a terrible, no good, very bad day, it’s one day closer to eternity in heaven. And that’s something to be glad about.
Good morning, Lord. I know how my life story ends — in heaven, with You, for eternity. I don’t know what I’ll find on the next page or in the next chapter. I do know that it puts me one page, one chapter closer to the glorious end. All good, in Your good time, thank You.
Short, but sweet, uplifting, and encouraging–that’s what I like about your emails.
Thank you, Stephanie. I try to KISS (keep it short and simple).
God has already written my story. I live it out, page by page, day by day.
Did God write in my story that my son would have a workplace accident and have to have both his legs amputated. I think the devil wrote that part of the story.
I think God has the ideal story written but if we don’t follow his storyline, we can certainly end up in heaven but maybe with many unfortunate detours along the way.
I’m sorry about you son’s accident, Melinda, and I too don’t consider it act of God. I think there’s a difference between God’s knowing it and God making it happen. I hope next week’s posts help explain. Stay tuned!
