Changing Room

God’s waiting rooms are also changing rooms.

Isaiah 61:3 (GNV)

… to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of gladness for the spirit of heaviness, that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that he might be glorified.

While we wait, God changes us … for the better.

Good morning, Lord. I look back and see how far I’ve come … I am kinder, less impulsive, more patient. Over the years, You have changed me for the better. Thank You. But I need more — more compassion, more discernment, more love for those who are hard to love.

Here I am, Lord, waiting on You. Change me!
