Psalm 46:4 (MEV)
There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God, the holy dwelling place of the Most High.
Imagine a steady rain falling on Los Angeles — soaking the dry timber, putting an end to the fires. The city would be filled with joy.
So shall it be when we leave this dry land behind and step into the heavenly realm.
Good morning, Lord. Send streams of water on the earthly wildfires. Pour living water on our thirsty souls. Fill us with joy, now and throughout eternity, in Jesus’ name.
Your words, inspired by our God, fill me full! I can see the words you write. I can picture myself (like dry timber) being saturated by the Living Water…
I’m so happy you can see what I write.
Hello, I live here in Santa Barbara County and I understand your prayers for rain. However in the past that only will produce mudslides. Evidence and bodies will need to be found before we want generous rain. Please pray for God’s will to be done. Pray for humidity and calming the winds. So much clean up taking place. But please no rain until then. In Jesus name Amen 🙏
I appreciate your perspective, Tina. Next up, prayer to calm the winds.
