When adorning yourselves, let it not be that outward adorning … of wearing gold, or of putting on apparel; but let it be the hidden man of the heart which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which in the sight of God is of great price.
God treasures a meek and quiet spirit–which is probably why the world doesn’t.
