Inquire of the Lord.
The phrase is found in several Old Testament passages. Here’s one:
2 Samuel 2:1 (ESV)
After this David inquired of the Lord, “Shall I go up into any of the cities of Judah?” And the Lord said to him, “Go up.” David said, “To which shall I go up?” And he said, “To Hebron.”
“Inquire of the Lord.” You’re not asking God to bless your plans. You’re asking God to make your plans. And per yesterday’s post, listen for God’s answer.
