Lord God, I don’t feel like a new creation I feel like a weary and worn creation. Thankfully, Your truth doesn’t depend on how I feel.

How true, Shirlee! Thanks for the reminder that I’m not required to feel, when I don’t “feel correctly”. I do though sometimes just go ahead and ask if it would be okay for Him to give me a “do over”! Maybe just bypass that whole process of rest and patience!
