2 Corinthians 7:1 GNT So then, let us purify ourselves from everything that makes body or soul unclean, and let us be completely holy by living in awe of God.
Make this holiday season holy. Live in awe of God.
For holidays, here’s my advice:
don’t go and have a fit
when you see the presents’ price,
and utter, “Holy ****!”
Sit down, instead, and count the blessings
of having many who’ve earned largesse,
and perhaps you’ll find the grace refreshing
when sorting out the Visa mess.
And recognise the social corner
into which you have been led
by your income, and by former
Christmases spent in the red.
Accept January’s billing tears,
and pay it off by, well, next year!
I embrace the grace of enough money to shop without counting the pennies. Like Paul, “I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty” (Phil 4:12). And to share that plenty with others.
Sharing’s the best way. We echange no presents, just donations.

I KEEP IT SHORT & SIMPLE.
Why?
Almost half of American adults read below high school level. God looks at your heart, not your reading skills. Big faith can be built on simple words.
