Lord, we pray for those whose hearts are inclined to evil, those who even now are plotting death and destruction. Transform their hearts of stone. Fill them with hope instead of despair. Turn their thoughts from death to life, in Jesus’ name.
There is divinity, so they say
in every heart and soul.
No matter how lost, how astray,
they may yet be made whole.
I really love the thought of this,
let’s all sing Kum-Ba-Ya!
But I fear that I’d be quite remiss,
not to mention this one flaw.
While we hope that they have changed,
they may still serve the wrong.
Some things must yet be re-arranged
and thus we must stay strong.
The innocents’ safety to ensure,
some must go home – premature.
I’m glad the final judgment is God’s and not mine! (I’m all too often wrong)

I KEEP IT SHORT & SIMPLE.
Why?
Almost half of American adults read below high school level. God looks at your heart, not your reading skills. Big faith can be built on simple words.
