I am not self-confident;
‘arrogant’s a better word,
and being unrepentant,
to modesty I flip the bird.
I can do most anything,
and do it better than the rest.
From where do these talents spring?
Well, I was trained by the best.
Jesus taught me not to hide
the light He gave beneath a basket,
and even now, great things betide,
for he who in faith asketh.
I think this confidence is wise,
though God may sometimes roll His Eyes.
I suspect, having made me, He’s got the eye-roll perfected.

I KEEP IT SHORT & SIMPLE.
Why?
Almost half of American adults read below high school level. God looks at your heart, not your reading skills. Big faith can be built on simple words.

God rolls His eyes? Hard to envision (but it made me smile).
I suspect, having made me, He’s got the eye-roll perfected.
