Oh, Father, they are coming,
they’ve broken every line,
and in their closer drumming
I do believe it’s time.
Oh, Father, don’t despise me;
I know that I have sinned.
It is now my fell destiny
to become Divine Wind.
Let my body be the weapon
and my heart its fissile core,
and in my death, please reckon
that I never left this war.
I will rise above the blasted plain
in hope that with you, I remain.
‘Tokko’ is an abbreviation of Tokobetsu Kogekitai (‘Special Attack Unit’), which was the official monniker for the kamikaze (‘Divine Wind’).
The wings of the morning
have always stirred my soul
with new hope a-borning
and the dream of being whole.
The dew-drops are a treasure-field
of myriad precious stones
shining with a colour-yield,
God’s visual cologne.
Could this be like Heaven,
with gems as a foundation,
and the magic air a leaven
a balm of salutation?
In a life so often painful flint,
perhaps, for hope, God gives a hint.
“God’s visual cologne.” Let me spritz a bit on me and head out in the world to be the fragrance of Christ–the glow of God.

I KEEP IT SHORT & SIMPLE.
Why?
Almost half of American adults read below high school level. God looks at your heart, not your reading skills. Big faith can be built on simple words.

Darn, I totally forgot that I offered that same comment yesterday! Iam so sorry.
It has been a really, really long day, and I do ask your pardon.
Sorry, and REALLY embarrassed!
Not to worry, Andrew. It’s like a 2-for-1 sale, and I love sales!
Hope you like this one…it’s fresh!
