I’ll have to ride this in,
through eternity’s mystery-door
and see what comes begin.
Guess it’s been quite a ride,

The Martin-Baker ejection seat’s preferred mode of activation is through the pulling forward and down of a ring on the top of the headrest, which deploys a face curtain (to protect the crewman from wind blast) and ensures proper body position.
