The Good Plan

1 Timothy 2:3-4
This is good, and pleases God our Savior,
who wants all people to be saved and
to come to a knowledge of the truth.

Our good God has your best interests at heart.

  1. Failures are cascading now
    and caution lights are red.
Funny, that, it seems as how
    everything’s been said.
I wish there were a certain
    plan, a future to project.
Reach up and pull the curtain:
    “Eject, eject, eject!”
    But the seat is bolted to the floor;
I’ll have to ride this in,
    through eternity’s mystery-door
    and see what comes begin.
Guess it’s been quite a ride,
and I’ll see you on the other side.

The Martin-Baker ejection seat’s preferred mode of activation is through the pulling forward and down of a ring on the top of the headrest, which deploys a face curtain (to protect the crewman from wind blast) and ensures proper body position.
