Plan with Care

Do you have a plan?

  • Goals, deadlines–I’ve got it!
  • I have a vague notion
  • No plan, I’m spontaneous

James 4:13-15
Now listen, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go to this or that city, spend a year there, carry on business and make money.” Why, you do not even know what will happen tomorrow. What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes. Instead, you ought to say, “If it is the Lord’s will, we will live and do this or that.”

Without God, it’s not much of a plan.

  1. You know I got it covered, man,
    and know exactly what to do.
    I don’t need no stinkin’ plan;
    I am the Rebel Without A Clue.
    I like to be spontaneous,
    make it up as goes along,
    throwing caution under the bus
    and I’m hardly ever wrong.
    Well, let me restate the last,
    ’cause you may be perplexed.
    When you decide good and fast,
    who cares if you’re correct?
    My mates observe my merry way;
    “How will the bloke screw up today?”
