Safe Schools

Something’s broken in our schools. Something we won’t fix with fewer guns or more metal detectors. Too many young men think that destruction will transform their pain into fame. They’ve lost sight of the image of God–in themselves and in others.

Their souls are broken.

It’s a spiritual issue, and it has to be fixed at a spiritual level.

Lord, give us eyes to see these broken souls. Break our hearts on their behalf. Show us how to love them, how to pray for them, how to speak life and light into the darkness of their souls.

  1. The spiritual fix in the only fix; we’ve tolerated our government dismissing God and Godly morals from the public square for so long that it’s going to take generations to fix. There’s no quick way out.

In the meantime, we need armed teachers – and armed students. The shepherds need to fulfill their roles unto death, and the sheep need to take a page from the goats, and butt hard.

“There’s no quick way out” — for humans. With God, everything is possible.
