I’m not sure it’s necessarily cheating – done properly, it’s meet obeisance to our cultural norm, rendering, so to speak, unto Caesar that which is Caesar’s.
When it comes between me and my relationship with God, it’s cheating. But you’re right, Andrew (as usual), there is room to live within the culture and still love God whole-heartedly.
