OK, Lord, I spoke less today. But I can’t say
that I listened more. 

 

 

This listening for Lent is harder than I thought.

    Good morning….I absolutely love that line..This listening….etc….I agree….it is not easy…takes patience &…discipline….

    Ps…I am not very good @ either…I can admit that…easily……I truly had to sit here &

    I was able to get ashes yest morning…w/another friend @ church who was gracious enough to pick me up…our weather here yest in Kentucky…was REALLY BAD…!!
    Super high winds…major damage…RAIN…& I have been trying for sev months to take this friend to lunch for her bday…I had coupons…that’s how I exist…coupons ..& they were for Long John’s…& when we left church..it was still pouring…& I said…do we need to set up this lunch for another time AGAIN..??..!!..& she said no…let’s do it…I was beyond ecstatic…you have no idea…& she actually asked me to do the driving…due to the weather…we had a blast..& Shirlee…I actually GOT TO LISTEN…I did do some talking…but she was able to talk…it was so nice…I know you guys didn’t care to hear all of this…but all this other led up to this….part..this friend is in a tighter spot…than we are…& I try to treat her..now & then…to dif things..so it was rather a two fold…deal…her bday..& the start of Lent…treat…thank for listening…….!!!!
