End and Means

Sometimes the end has to justify the means, Shirlee. There are things too terrible to relate, that require fell deeds to prevent.
No one really gets out of that situation alive.
In extreme situations, Andrew, even God uses extreme means–we see that in the Bible. But I don’t see God accepting the casual “my intentions were good” as an excuse for lying our way into a better job, public office or new relationships.
