“This is my Father’s world,
and to my listening ears
all nature sings, and round me rings
the music of the spheres.”
Maltbie D. Babcock (1858-1901)
“All nature sings.” I wonder . . . does each snowflake sing a different melody?

Shirlee, I’ll bet they do indeed ring out a unique melody. I adore: This is My Father’s World. My children and sang dozens of hymns during homeschooling, and this was the first one we learned using a book from Focus on the Family.
Thank you for reminding me of a lovely memory.

Wendy, I read that the man who wrote these words often said to his wife, “I’m going out to see my Father’s world.” Kudos to you for teaching your children to do the same.
