Prayer changes things. Prayer changes the storm. Prayer changes me.
It doesn’t have to be the whole Bible. It doesn’t have to be a whole book. It doesn’t have to be a whole chapter. It can simply be one verse.
Come. Stay. Fetch. The dogs obey their master’s voice. So why is it so hard for me?
John 13:34 (CEV) Love each other, just as I have loved you. Nine simple words. World-changing simple words.
Our best weapon . . . prayer.
You don’t have to be a great reader to be a spiritual giant. You just need big faith.
The young man who rear-ended my car said, “Accidents happen.” I was hoping for two different words: “I’m sorry.” Two simple, powerful words. The sooner said, the better.
God doesn’t listen better or answer faster because you use fancy words. Just talk. He’s listening.
Many readers can’t scan. They have to read every word. Let’s make every word worth their effort.
