Halloween, Hallowed Eve.
Hallowed means “holy.” What’s holy this week?
- “Hallowed be Thy name”
- Halloween? Hardly holy
- Holy cow! Can’t we just have fun?
Per Merriam-Webster, holy means worthy of complete devotion as one perfect in goodness and righteousness.
God is holy. Today, tomorrow, this week and forever.
Revelation 4:8
“Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty,”
who was, and is, and is to come.
So true. Holy God at all times.
